To preserve the gold lustre finish, always hand wash gently with mild dish soap and warm water using a soft cloth or sponge, avoiding abrasive materials, harsh chemicals, and extended soaking. Gold lustre pottery is not microwave- or dishwasher-safe, as high heat and harsh detergents can damage or remove the gold finish.
